This taken from Dr Rogers website:

"Rogers Medical is looking forward to establish another highly regarded hair restoration centre in London. We hope to find suitable premises very soon in the Harley Street, Wimpole St and Devonshire Place area.

Dr Rogers will work from there on Mondays, both for consultations and surgery, although the number of grafts will be limited to no more than 1000. Larger sessions will only be offered at Stratford on Avon. Small FUE procedures may also be available in London.

Further information soon but Healthcare Commission registration takes time so the surgery is unlkely to be available before Christmas 2005."

Got to be good news for hair transplant in the UK.

I saw that.

That is handy, although I do not want to travel into the centre of London.

Especially on the underground. That was the only problem when I saw that. I knew that the only real/cheapest/quickest option would be via the tube.

Other than that, that is good news. He says he can only do 1000. Perfect.

I'll take the plunge within 2 years I reckon. 1000 FUE on the hairline. I can at least shave it #1 at the very worst.

Recent happenings have rendered the underground next to useless as far as I'm concerned. I wasn't a huge fan to begin with, but there's no chance I'll use it now.

Agencies act like I'm insane when I tell them I'm not interested in a certain contract because it's too far into London. No job is worth risking my life over.

I hope FUE with Dr Rogers will be a bit cheaper in a year or so. Perhaps another Dr means more patients per day/week and as a result, a drop in cost? FUE is almost prohibitively expensive at the moment.

This is good news for those of us who live near London.

I wonder if he'll offer smaller numbers of grafts than 1000? Something like Dr. Fellers lunchtime FUE sessions would be great, you could just get a little done every week with minimal inconvenience.

I thought he died. Oh, wait, that was Mr. Rogers. The neighborhood hasn't been the same since.
