Ordered Minoxidil 5%, should I wait for my Nizoral?

Hey guys,

I have been taking finasteride for about 3 months and am just now ordering Minoxidil 5% and Nizoral. However, while the Minoxidil will be arriving in two days, the Nizoral won't be here till October 20th or so.

Is it wise to wait a few more weeks for the Nizoral to get here, or just go ahead and start the Minoxidil when it arrives?

Also, if someone could explain the benefits of the Nizoral to hairloss, I'd be forever grateful!

Also one more thing...I had tried the foam rogaine a few years ago and I regrew some very thin and wirey looking hairs which fell out quite easily, so I quit rather quickly.

I'm hoping this was the case because I wasn't on finasteride or maybe I just didn't stick with it long enough. Has anyone else experienced these?

Go ahead and start, you don't need to take all 3 at once, the benefits of Nizoral are pretty debatable anyway.

I agree. Go ahead and start talking the minoxidil as hair loss products take time to start working so you want to begin asap. Minoxidil is more proven to work than Nizoral but its a good idea to take them both. They just dont need to be started at exactly the same time. Just simply add the nizoral to your regimen when you get it.

Okay, sounds good guys. Also, I really only have loss on the temples...(pics here http://www.hairlosstalk.com/interact/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=68987)

Is it recommend I only apply it to my temples, or the whole head?
