Oral Spironolactone Every Other Day

I am on 400 mg spironolactone per day. So far no results.

I never said that it would be an effective hair loss treatment. I just happen to have a lot of experience in using it and how it acts on the endocrine system. Serum Testosterone levels will not change and can possibly elevate because Testosterone is blocked from binding to the receptors. An SHBG test would show if it is having an effect. Regardless, my opinion on the drug for use as a hair loss treatment is it doesn't help.

Why not trying topical spironolactone first? Less side effects definitely.
Or topical spironolactone doesn't really work for hair loss ?

I have been taking it since the last 4 months. I got slightly lower libido and some gyno.
