Oral plus topical finasteride?

Hello, I crush 2X5mg of fincar in my Kirkland 5% bottle. AND I take oral finasteride 0,8mg daily.
WHY?
-Fincar cost nothing.
-Type II receptors are found a lot near the follicules. I dont remember the exact terms bryan used.
-I dont use premixed topical finasteride like promox etc because I heard finasteride is destroyed in minoxidil in less than 1 month.
-Even if all this theroy is BS and it goes systemic, it would only be a total of 1mg of finasteride daily (the average dose of everyone)
-It dissolves well in the minoxidil solution (alcohol based).
-I use retinoic acid everyother day and nizoral everyday , it may help to absorb.

there is a compelling argument in favor of using the topical as well. There are small quantities of type 2 5AR receptors at the hair follicles and a topical finasteride may be more efficient at inhibiting these enzymes. It is type 2 5 AR that converts testosterone into DHT.

BOTH types of 5a-reductase convert testosterone into DHT.
As I've pointed out numerous times, studies with topical finasteride have produced results that are all over the map. I can show you a well-designed one that found a very slightly REDUCED hair-count from topical finasteride on the scalp, although I imagine that was probably just a statistical fluke. But personally, I'd recommend against using it, until the experts can explain why it seemed to work a little bit in some studies, and not at all in others.
