Oral minoxidil for fading topical gains

Hi everyone, couple of questions if anyone has any feedback. I have been taking topical minoxidil for years and the gains are now starting to fade. Is it worth trying oral min as a booster?
Also if I start oral min would I not need to apply the topical anymore. Guess I'm scared of a massive she'd as been on a good 6/7 years

Thanks for the response. Have you noticed any difference since changing to oral minoxidil after that long on topicals?

I would recommend trying oral. I've added oral, also still applying topically - shedding vastly decreased 3 months in now
