options if propecia and rogaine dont work...

im almost at the one year mark with propecia and it isnt working. i tried minoxidil but stopped due to side effects. are there any other proven treatments i cant try?

Alot of people will tell you the only two things that really work are propecia and minoxidil. However, I think you can take a look at using Nizoral shampoo and a copper peptide formula (Folligen, Tricomin, American Crew) in place of minoxidil. These two combined have the potential to yield some regrowth.

If you are looking for an addition to propecia, you can try a topical DHT inhibitor such as Spironolactone or Revivogen. Both are supposedly pretty decent at halting DHT.

thanks for the response. i have tried nizoral 2% but i have a really sensitive scalp and it seems to irritate it more. maybe the 1% would be better.

the other options you mentioned (copper peptide, spironolactone, etc.) where are these available? how successful are they?
