From what I have read I would say that I have DPA. I have been taking Rogaine drops 2x a day for about two months. I'm considering Propecia. I'm 28.

Whats DPA? Diffuse pattern alopecia? Id just call that male pattern baldness. Start propecia now if you wanna keep what you have.

Yeah just looks like plain old m.p.b to me. And at an advanced stage for meds I'd say maintaining/slight improvement is about all you can hope for. And yeah rogain aint gonna do f*** all there you need finasteride.

Hey bro, I hope I don't offend you but honestly if I was you, I would give the buzzed look a try. You might like it. Also, like SAF said it might be late for propecia at this point but I would say it's worth a try if your hair loss really bothers you.

Thanks for the advice. I usually use a hair dryer to give it volume which hides the thinness somewhat. I'm going to do the big 3 and hope for some improvement.

Have you tried concealers like Nanogen fibres? They'll do much more than blowdrying and give more of a visible improvement than your likely to get with meds.

I just started doing research and hadn't yet looked at concealers. There is something about using a concealer that is off-putting to me, however, the Nanogen fibres product looks interesting. I will have to buy some and test it out.

Yeah dude, try "toppik" out, i use it as needed and it helps. It's not a solution to your problem, but it might buy you some time til the meds take effect (assuming they do).
