Honest opinions on my hairline? Have always had an irregular hairline but recently seems to be worse. I'm predisposed. Dad started balding at 18

Seems like you are receding I am sorry to say. It is still very thick but given your family history you should be ready to take action if it gets worse.

You're almost a Norwood 2. If you have it that bad at 18, you'll probably be a Norwood 5/6 by the time you're thirty.

Sorry, but it's true. Recommend you go on dutasteride, ASAP. Or something even stronger.

It depends on what your hairline looked like before it started receding. If you have a naturally high hairline it just may recede a bit and stay like that. My hairline looked like yours at 18, it receded a bit more until 21, then stopped for 6 years, I'm now 27. You really never know, but there's no guarantee you'll keep losing hair and be a Norwood 5 by 30. I would definitely get on finasteride though. Keep an eye on it. If it doesn't change in 6 months it's slow receding and finasteride will make it completely stop.
