Opinion: Will My Damaged Hairline Grow Back? (pics)

Hi there,
I'm a 31-year-old male and I accidentally scarred my frontal hairline when I was younger. I'm afraid the follicles are damaged as the hair's structure is different than before. Will it grow back?
Are these little fine hairs along my hairline new growth or miniaturization? And also: am I losing my hair at all or not?
Pics below.
Thanks in advance for your opinion!

Looks like thinning to me, look into microneedling. It shoud help both with the scar and with the thinning. Adding minoxidil would help too.

Thanks, I'll look into it. Would you say thinning, as in slowly losing my hairline and eventually balding? Or just mature hairline that comes with age?

There's no such thing as a mature hairline man, some people recede a little bit and then stop there, others keep losing hair. There's no way of knowing which or these things is going to happen to you so it's better to be on the safe side.

Did your maternal grandpa or maternal uncles experienced balding early in their life? If so then chances of you for the same are really high. But it is just started so you can keep your hair with experts advice.(always take second opinion before going on drug)

My maternal grandpa was bald, but my mom has a full head of hair. My uncle on mom's side has very thick hair too. My father has a receding hairline at the front and the crown, but still has a very nice amount of hair for his age.
Am I getting spared, or is it too early to tell since I'm just turning 31?

My girlfriend thinks a slightly receding hairline is sexy.

Baldness gene behaves recessive for women and dominant for men. So even if your mother has good hair she may carrying your grandpas bald genes and you might have inherited those genes. Anyway I think you are in middle. Not spared but not affected too much. Best luck man.

She is absolutely right. Full juvenile hairline looks childish and foolish. I think mature Norwood 1.5 or 2 hairline gives any man masculine look.
So what Norwood am I?
New pic here: same but different lighting, I think my hairline looks fuller in this light. What do you think?

Slight above of NW1.5 but not NW2 yet. This pic gives perfect view. Yes! Hair looks thicker in this pic. When you take close ups with flash or in daylight it always looks thinner though. I think if you keep this hair status you will be fine.

Too bad there's been a scar on the part of my hairline that is not receding. That's why it often looks like I have an uneven haircut. The back half of my hair has a nice grip and texture, and the front half of my hair is more limp and falls flat at my forehead.

The big 3 is holding my hairline like that but for growth you mostly resort to surgery :(

You think 31 is getting old?! I feel sorry for you
Well I think the same, but please don't feel sorry for me as too.
You're NW2 by the way. I don't think you'll go beyond NW3 before the age of 40 but with hair loss a man can never tell.
