23M, hairloss started at age 19. Currently Norwood 3v. Only a small cowlick at the crown not visible to the non-balding population.
I’ll end up very high on the norwood scale, 6 or 7. (Family balding history is strong).
I’ve been taking Finasteride for 9 months now, and i’m quite sure it has stopped, or atleast halted my hairloss. (Maybe regrowth in crown region.)
I think i’ll incorporate minoxidil and dermarolling at 1 year mark, to see if regrowth is possible. (I’ll turn 24 at the 1 year mark).
My question goes: if i can stay consistent with treatments (Big 3), and my hairloss is stopped - is it a bad idea to get a hair transplant age 25?
I know it’s young and i would have to keep up with treatments. But i’ll rather have hair in my 20’s than later on. Ofcourse i’ll allways want hair - but my youth is most important to me - and i’m sure i could pull of bald, when i get a little older.
Just give me your honest opinions!
