for about 1.5 months ago I started Propecia Nizoral and some other vitamins due to malnutrition. Now my hair has lost a noticeable amount of density, but I have'nt noticed any unusal amount of hair fallouts. Can a shedding to a treatment be unnoticeable, i mean you don't se many hairs that falls out but still the hair lose density after you begin a treatment??

You're just not seeing the hairs that fall. If you're seeing noticeable thinning on your head, the hairs are falling out. Technically they're just going dormant, to wake back up again in 4 to 6 months. But yes they're falling out. Existing hairs don't get thinner on Propecia.

HairLossTalk.com, i sure hope youre right. you sure hair doesnt thin in diameter on propecia? first ive heard mention of this? what if the dht is too strong/plentiful and balding progresses.

also, your estimate of 4-6 months...does this mean that after pronounced shedding you should look for regrowth 4-6 months later? can it happen earlier?

in response to kenneth, im sure thats possible. i never noticed much shedding during my 1st shed, when i ran my finger through my hair etc. but when i had a haircut i noticed id lost a *lot*. probably goes unnoticed.
