Once a day or twice a day

To reduce the sides i was getting I've only applied minoxidil at night, Could this be why minoxidil isn't working for me?

minoxidil has a half life of 22 hrs topically, so once a day should be ALMOST as good as twice a day. Many docs like Dr. Bernstein instruct his patients to only use once a day at night. He has tons of regrowth pics of patients on his site
