I'm hesitant to start RU although I am very interested in getting more evidence that it would work.

1) how is the safety and for what Reason did this never get released to market?

2) who uses it and actually experienced maintenance?

3) has anyone used it and watched their hair go to **** while on it?

I have to take a long break from finasteride and I'm really hoping I hear good news about ru so I could grab that for now to hold me over. I'm experiencing some erection problems from finasteride and I'm currently 6 days off it. Really hope to see some recovery signs soon!

1. Unfortunately we don't have a definitive answer to this. I'm hoping that CB-03-01 makes it to the market. And my use of RU is limited to just a few years. I have not had any fishy (health related) side effects from it thus far. Using it almost 18 months.

2. Yes yes, not only maintenance but good regrowth.

I've also used fluridil, topical spironolactone and revivogen. And RU is better than each of these. The only one of them that could compare with finasterade in terms of effectiveness. With much less side effects than finasterade for me. None at all if I'm dosing it carefully.

cool man, appreciate the insight. So if i do go ahead and order it what do you recommend i start dosing at? also, when you say no health related side effects do you still have problems with sex drive? i was on and off finasteride for about 10 months and i tried to tell myself i wasnt getting sexual sides but it turns out its harder for me to keep my erection going without any physical stimulation. I really wanna keep what i have AT LEAST, but i also wanna feel like a man in bed.

if you feel like it you could message me with what you make your solution with, where you buy your RU and where you get the other ingredients you combine it with for an effective vehicle. I am definately a n00b at this stuff so id appreciate a detailed instruction on what to get and what to mix (if you got the time to do it) and again, i really appreciate the info bro.

I would start low, about 20/30 mg per day. And work up if you feel the need. I get absolutely no side effects at that dose. No sexual sides. I'm currently using 30mg. I've dosed it higher and will go higher again at some point. I'm also using fluridil and lipogaine atm. Which is why I backed off the dose. But I think I'll be dropping fluridil and going back on higher dose ru.

I took the premixed 50 mg (in KB solution) from anageninc (ie Kane) for several months. My hair seemed to thin out, which isn't necessarily out of the ordinary at the start of taking a new hair loss med, however in my case I think it may have been due to reflex hyperandrogenicity. I thought I noticed my sex drive actually seemed SLIGHTLY higher almost immediately after applying it, and I also noticed some pimples on the hairline, which I'm not normally prone to. Most likely there is a small amount of systemic absorption with RU, how much of a problem that poses is anyone's guess.

I used the same premixed 50mg from anagen.inc. (I use powder now). But it actually thickened my hair a lot. I also have noticed it stimulating my libido a bit. At other times my libido felt lower so I lowered the dose or took a day off. I continue to change the dose and or alternate days depending if I think I am getting sides.

Looks like I'm in a similar situation. I'm quitting finasteride more or less and I really hope I can jump on RU right now.

I've been on finasteride for over 7 years and somehow getting slowly developing sides (fatigue, sleep & sexual problems). It developed REALLY slow so I didn't blame it on finasteride until a year ago. And in the past one year the sides developed even further that I have to give it up, which makes my hair like ****.

So I guess RU can't be worse than that after all. I've read anecdotal heart-related sides about it, but it seems rare. Heart-related problems seems common with topicals (like minoxidil)? Anyway I think you can manage it if careful enough with the dosage.

Another thing that interests me is that I read elsewhere the main sources of RU get their drug produced in China. I am in China and I did a quick search to find tons of incredibly cheap suppliers (which makes it seem even more fishy to me). They offer it in kgs! I'm wondering if I could find a genuine source or maybe a lab to get it tested. That'll really make me sing hallelujah :doh:
