Yep I am in the same situation as you. Dr. Lee's minoxidil is amazing (even though I haven't managed to get any regrowth from using minoxidil).

I really like the texture it adds to my hair which thickens it. I hope I get a similar experience when I go onto Rogaine Foam.

I'm either going to try Perfect Image Solutions or MinoxidilMax next. Not sure which yet. The Kirklands was too greasy to use before work.

I know how you feel. I loved Dr. Lee's products and I have been freaking out ever since because most topical minoxidil solutions (regular minoxidil, rogaine, rogaine foam, etc) leave my hair wet for hours making it look so thin.

But I think there is hope. I have been reading around this forum. In one of the threads for genhair, I read genhair sensitive minoxidil 5% seems to dry very fast and then recently I came across Essengen 5% minoxidil Fast Dry that claims to dry in 30 minutes. I just ordered both to try. I am praying it works and dries as fast as Dr. Lees. I really miss his products.

I'll let you know.

Yeah, I contacted minoxidilmax and asked if they could sell Lee's 500. They said they were thinking about and would probably offer it soon. I have since received 2 bottles, it has 50% Ethanl, 30% PG and 20% water just like Lees 500.

Feels pretty much exactly the same as it should.

I switched to Kirkland minoxidil as I have 1/2 bottle of Dr Lee's left.

I'm going to alternate the two each day to give my hair a chance to 'get used to' the Kirkland version - Any reason why this would be a bad idea?

As for Kirkland's minoxidil, it smells similar, looks the same, dries quickly and isn't any/much more greasy than Dr Lees.

Hi blaze.

How are you finding MinoxidilMax quick drying minoxidil? What is the dispatch and delivery time like?

Well i still have some of Lee's 500 and I have been comparing them. They feel pretty much the same to me.

Dispatch and shipping took about 2 weeks combined I would say.

From my post on May 2, 2011. I said I was upset (understatement) Dr Lee was shut down because each minoxidil I had tried took at least 3-4 hours to dry whereas Dr. Lee's Xandrox was so fast. I was going to try GenHair's Sensitive minoxidil 5% and Minoxidilmax's Essogen 5% - Fast Dry and let you know. I have tried both and this is what I found:

Minoxidilmax Fast Dry -
It dried much faster than their other minoxidils. Just about as fast as Dr. Lee's Xandrox did which I was very happy to see. Up to now, Dr. Lee's xandrox 5% and azleic acid was the fastest I had ever used. The only thing I will say, but I can live without it for now, is the Essogen Fast Dry 5% minoxidil doesn't have azleic acid in it. I am combining with with their 15% at night which does have azleic acid anyway. Also, each time I order, I receive it in 3-4 days. Its about $18-19 per bottle.

GenHair - Sensitive minoxidil 5%
This dried just as fast too, but I noticed it did not leave my hair looking a little thicker like Dr lee's did and Essogen 5%. I found this interesting and it may be different for everyone. However, it took 14 daI ys to receive since they ship from out of country. You do get more value though. $36 for 2 80 ml bottles.

For now I am sticking with Essogen 5% Fast Dry. I still have some of Dr Lees Xandrox leftover and both smell exactly same as Dr Lees which makes me feel like both are legit. I have noticed less hair falling out.
