Okay to buy spironolactone cream from HairLossTalk.com shop?

Saw that spironolactone 5% cream was back on the HairLossTalk.com shop at $29. Is it okay to order or is the admin still experimenting with it?

i would like to know this to. I am thinkin about adding spironolactone in a few months and would rather not go through the consultation and everything with lee and the s5 is about the same price, actually cheaper, for the same amount. Is the s5 cream comparable or would it be better off just going with the lee spironolactone?

Its a legit product. I am not set in stone on the price. What is Dr. Lee's rolling for these days? $32 right?

Ill take your word for it. Its like 31 i think but you have to go through the hassle of consultation and the 20 fee. I think i'm gonna save trying a higher concentration minoxidil for awhile so if your product is of comparable quality and price i will probably just go with yours in a few months when i try spironolactone

cool. Admin is making the spironolactone easier to get. I like that.

I make my own cheaper, but it has orange coloring and lots of chalk in it too. I bet Admin's is a lot nicer.

It might need to be micronized too, but that is just a pH thing.

ALSO,

I'm wondering if that statement on the description of the s5 lotion is true? The one regarding the dispersion of the spironolactone 1/2 inch in terms of where it is applied on the scalp....Dr. Lee states that it does not disperse like minoxidil.

Yes its the same product. The GenHair guys are truly good guys. Have known them personally (through HairlossTalk) for about 3 years now. Upstanding, honest, and ethical.

I wanted to make it available to american customers so you guys can get it more quickly, cheaply, and easily. So I offered. We don't make our own products. Just sell the ones that make scientific sense.

This spironolactone contains 5% Spironolactone, 1% Caffeine, 0.025% Retinol, Menthol, and Rosemary Oil as the scent, I believe.

If by dispersion you mean it absorbs and spreads to a larger area, then I can say without hesitation that Dr. Lee's does in fact do this. I apply it to my hairline, literally following my hairline, and not overlapping into the forehead area by even 1 milimeter. An hour later, my forehead will be completely dry, but about a half inch to an inch down from the hairline it is glossy. In a perfect line. This to me implies there is plenty of dispersion. But isn't that a good thing? Smaller amount goes a longer ways...

Then again, you could have meant something completely different by dispersion...

Cassin - I hadn't looked at the other GenHair products yet.

But I am going to knock the price of this sprio down to $25 right now.

Well, we all know how minoxidil does not need to be applied everywhere because it spreads throughout the "horny" layers of skin within the scalp. I assumed this is what you meant in the description of the s5 lotion. I have no reason to doubt you since you have used spironolactone for 5+ years. That is actually encouraging. I just wanted to state the fact that Dr. Lee told me in a consultation that it needs to be applied everywhere there is thinning or receding.

I don't care about dispersion. I care that your observation proves this is a strong androgen receptor blocker. For $25 I might buy some.
I'm also happy it was Lee's that did it, since I think his is just spironolactone. If it was the genhair that did it, I'd wonder if it was the menthol or something else that was the androgen receptor blocker.

it says on it best to keep refrigerated or at room temperature. does it matter? is it better to keep it refrigerated or just as long as its not exposed to heat?
