Hi,
I am new here and have question.
I have oily skin and oily scalp although I take Propecia.
My skin was oily since I was young about 12-13 years old.

Does the oily skin and scalp mean that dht not decreased although the use of propecia ,so it can still affect my hair loss?
and if so there is a point in taking propecia?

Having oily skin doesn't decrease the effect of propecia but I have heard from propecia users that taking propecia increase sebum production and some had a decrease in seubum production but its not scientifically proven.

The oily skin doens't mean production of dht ,so propecia doesn't work properly or I don't understand how it works?

it hasn't seemed to hinder my progress. Before taking finasteride my hair was thin and dry. I've only been on finasteride a short time, but feel it has been a benefit...if a little bit more oil.
