off and on thining???

is it possible to lose hair on and off and grow it back naturally?? theres times where i would lose large amounts of hair during the shower but at times i would lose none.. my hairs been getting thin for about 3 or 4 years but as of late i have not been losing much. so i wondering if it is possible for me naturally grow back my thining hair ?? i am also only 25 years old.

this is exactly how it happens for me so i'm sure it's possible. I go through phases where i lose and then it grows back a little and then later i lose more. I think some people's hairloss comes in waves rather than a steady flow.
