So. Say you're NW3. And your maternal uncles are NW3. So if you're lucky you will stay NW3 for years to come.

What way is then best for going from NW3 to NW2?

minoxidil can age the skin. So it would be finasteride+shampoo, not all of the big three.

minoxidil does not age your skin, it's a vital component of tackling hair loss. If you are fine with maintaining then just use finasteride and nizoral though Take pictures every few months and give it a full 12 months.

Minoxidil does age skin and horribly, just look it up and you'll find that it does. Cause leathery skin, wrinkles and bags under your eyes.

Best way in my opinion is hair transplant. Get on finasteride for a couple years, confirm you are stable and the proceed to lowering your hairline to your desired state.

Minoxidil is time consuming and messy and your resulting regrowth will not be native quality hair.

I highly doubt I'll lose more hair soon. I have lost some the last decade, on my temples, but it's going slow.

I am loath to get on finasteride, partly due to side effects, partly since it only stops further hairloss? And if you're lucky it might bring some lost hair back? And that's it?

Anyways. I'd look way better if I'd just get rid of my high templed sharp v-shape.

Well if finasteride regrew all native hairs then every single man on earth would take it. Its remarkable what finasteride does. “Only stops further hair loss” is a big thing.

Minoxidil 100% ages skins. Maybe not for everyone, but I've observed it in numerous people including myself.
