Hey guys
The last couple of years Ive been rocking my NW2 with no fucks given
This summer however my temples starter receding inwards toward my widowspeak - crown still fine
Knowing nothing i went to an hair transplant clinic - they told me that they wouldnt perform a hair transplant now, and would prefer that a started a treatment since "i could still save a lot of the hair receding area" and stabilize and get a much better long term result later
Been om finasteride 6 weeks now, and since day 3-4 Ive been shedding a lot (Ive never had a noticeable shed before) - even though i still shed, the last week i havent been able to force hair out (pulling/running fingers through hair) i see that as a good sign
My hairs had gotten really thin and my crown is now visible on the other hand, my hair feels healthier and ive gotten strong but small, white hairs on my temples.
Therefore i ordered minoxidil, my question being if should start it?
If i dont, i guess i risk the vellus hair dying but if start i cant really monitor if the finasteride works
Ive also heard minoxidil being to strong for little fragile hairs
Furthermore im worried that a future hair transplant being perfomed wrong since it would start after minoxidil hair, that might dissappear in future, leaving a weird hairline
Also had anyone experienced this thinning on starting finasteride? The clinic i went to told me i didnt have diffuse thinning (yet) (they used this microscope thing)
And did your hair thick back up (i think my shed is starting to stop), or did my balding pattern just change in 6 weeks?
I use Nizoral and climbazole shampoo aswell
I ask here because my lurking tells me most people here know a lot about male pattern baldness
Any opinion or advice would be nice!
Hope iam confident enough to soon post some pics
