Now Do You Clear Front Hairline With Tape

Hello. Just wondering how you guys clean your hairline with your piece attached with tape. I tried many types of tapes and although they are supposed to last 3 weeks, I end up having to change every week. After 5 days the front starts getting gooey and just wondering how you clean and reattach the front while the tape is still there....
I end up using alcohol and clean the vest i can and press with comb the front ...But the lace lifts a bit...any tips appreciated
