I have been using Eucapil(Fluridil) for about 10 months now. I also use Nizoral shampoo, but nothing else. My front was pretty much bald when I started using it. My crown dont seem affected at all.
After starting Fluridil (I started Nizoral many months later) my hair loss stopped pretty much instantly. OK, maybe 2-3 weeks into the treatment. I have also gotten new hairs where I was completely bald before. (have been for 8-10 years). But it happens at a really slow pace. I can still see improvement happening now after 10 months, so I will stick with it until anything better comes along.
"rcom440" is commenting like som many on this forum about things he dont understand. Fluradil is not at all dangerous. "rcom440" is confusing Fluridil with flutamide, which is a whole other thing. We are dealing with people on this forum who dont comprehend that different products starting with the same letters still can be extremely different from each other, which is the case here.
Fluridil only works in the scalp, and it molecular structure is designed to dissolve if Fluridil enters the bloodstream. That molecular design assures that the product is safe to use.
Personally, the alcohol in the product dont bother me. My scalp doesnt get particulary dry or anything.
Eucapil is still in business, as they delivers the product, and also in a fast manner. So people obviously must be using the product in silence and not posting about it in forums, or else Eucapil would go out of business I guess.
I wish I had started(or knew of) Fluridil earlier though, because I'm pretty sure it would have stopped my hair loss before it became visually a problem, as regrowing seems to happen really slow.
