I have some relatively fine hairs in that area, which pretty much confirms that I'm in the early stages of male pattern baldness. Shame...I was hoping I could delay my getting on finasteride for at least another 3 years - it may look passable know, but who knows what could happen within the next year

Get on 1 mg of dutasteride a day, finasteride may not be enough to save you at this stage.

your fine dude. Maybe ur hairline is changing shape, aka 'maturing' aka slight male pattern baldness which the vast majority of men experience, but your hair is so good right now, basically flawless it would be stupid to get on meds. Your hair is epic. Keep an eye on the area behind ur hairline for miniaturisation otherwise you have nothing to worry about. Worst case scenario is you end up like paul pierce who is a good example of someone of African descent whose hairline has 'matured' over the years.
