So ive been using minoxidil for 6 months now, great progress, one temple almost full of hair and hair thicker everywhere BUT my right temple has not grown a single hair but left temple is full of hair, what should i do? should i get Propecia/dutt/finn?
i have so crazy progress everywhere else but right temple, not a single hair on right temple.

ive been using Minoxidil+ Nizoral and a bottle of Alpecin which is useless i think.

Hi, what minoxidil product do you use, I'm only 17 years old and on finasteride, which I think is too young, but I get confused with all of the different minoxidil products that I discover lol.

I Use kirkland 5% minoxidil because its cheap, cant be bothered with all those expensive minoxes that work just like same and have like 80% markup on price.
its the same thing but different companies selling it.

Hows finn working for u? any side effects?
but u should def. get on minoxidil, to me its like the best thing ever, it has helped me alot.

i was the same way on minoxidil after a year. My left temple wasn't improving. I'm now 6 months into finasteride and it's finally slowly thickening.

It definitely couldn't hurt to add finasteride to the treatment. A study showed that using finasteride and minoxidil in combination was more effective on hair growth than using either one on its own (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12227482). It is probably just that your hair loss is more aggressive on the right temple than anywhere else, so you need a stronger "punch" to revive those hairs (if they are still viable).

I would wait a few months to see what happens. This happened to me when I started using minoxidil.

My right side grew a lot faster then my left side. Eventually, the left side caught up and it looked okay.

If it continues, go see a doctor.

My temples are also slowly growing...very slowly...nothing for 6 months, vellus from 6 months- 1year slowly turning pigmented. It's been 1+year and the hair are few mm and thin. But there is steady improvement
The growth is different between temples but they will catch up and become even eventually. My temple grew weirdly with some spots getting alive here and there first and the areas around following later.

Stay with it and be patient is my advice.
