Okay here's the deal, at first I thought that I've faced male pattern baldness as many of us here... Never the less now it seems that my hair isn't losing only at the normal male pattern baldness area. It seems that if I pull my hair gently at the back of my neck there randomly may leave 2 to 3 hairs.. Same happens where ever I pull hairs gently.

Anyway this does not happen all the time of course and thank god.

Here is a bit background information about my life situation which I actually posted to some other topic but I just feel that I really need to post the new topic.

I would say that I'm losing around 150 hairs daily. I've been under lots of stress lately because of the working and because I've moved to another country. To be honest my diet haven't been too good either within last 2 months. And now when I'm afraid of male pattern baldness it affects to my sleeping :( I know I can't help it before I get finasteride but I just can't stop thinking about it.

So at the moment I've planned to start big3 after christmas because I'm aware of possible shedding I wanna keep my hair as it is during the holidays when I see relatives etc.

I've also thinking to shave my head at the beginning of big3 for "just because I wanna see does bald suit me". What do you guys think is it a bad idea ? I mean it can't affect negatively for my possible hair growth and can I still use rogaine foam if I don't have any hairs ? Just apply it to templates or full head as I would do with hair ?

Here is my "What will my story be" topic if you have any opinions or comments: hairlosstalk.com/interact/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=69764

Those hairs are probably coming out cause you're pulling them... so, don't lol. You might as well start your meds before Christmas, though, as shedding usually occurs around the 3 month period, and it'll save more hair the earlier you start.

Shaving your head's a good idea as it'll minimize the visual effect of any shedding from finasteride/rogaine - you can always grow it back out later. You might want to wait until you do shed though, just so you know the treatment's working. Heck, some people barely shed at all.

I've read that it makes applying rogaine easier, too, although you'll want to buzz it rather than shave it entirely, so you can still see where the hair is to apply. It's not necessary, but as you say it could help you get a feel for being 'bald'.

Okay, I'm just waiting until I see the doctor and if he prescripes me finasteride I will start it right a way. I just want hear his opinion about possible sides and what should I do if I notice problems with sexual health.
