Alright guys, I've been on here a little while and was wondering if you guys could give me alittle feedback on my pics.

What norwood do you think I am??

I have been thinning for a while in the temples, espcially on my right temple, but its hard to tell unless its wet or spiked up.

What do you guys think? Here is one of the do spiked up and wet

your hairline is a little higher than it probably used to be, and could still be slowly receeding but it doesnt look bad at all. i would say not quite NW1 but not NW2 yet.

Not really, you have no real hairloss IMO. I never had hair like that when I was 13!
Norwood 1.5?

What do you guys think, I really think my right temple is thinning significantly. I have a patch in the middle front of my scalp that is thick and then the temple is pretty thin

Check this one out again???/ I know the hairline is ok but I'm nervous about the thinning behind it.

Do you fellas think I need to be concerned abou this?

Depends on how old you are ??? if you are close to thirty and have not experienced hairloss you will keep your head of hair very close to all the time.

I don't think you are experiencing male pattern baldness. Now if any portion where you had hair goes smooth then you might want to react. Temples will sometimes be thinner and lighter in color even in people with no hairloss.

You got the pics now take more and compare, I would even say a year from now.

I am 27 now and started noticing the thinning in the temples about 1 year ago. It almost looks like its starting to shape into a norwood pattern. It has definitely gotten worse in the last year, don't know if its going into a mature hairline or male pattern baldness

thanks for the replies so far though guys

Thats what I thought.
This guys no youngster he'll probably keep most of that hair for life maybe experience a little bit of thinning or very slight recession. All men do as they age, does'nt mean they are balding though.

the thing that made me worried is I noticed no thinning at all zilch, until this past year where the whole top thinned out enough for me to notice but not enough for others, and my temples thinned quite fast.

would i be concerned about it? yes

would i do anything right now? no

i'd take some more pics in 6 months or a year, and see if it's noticably worse then you might want to start some type of treatment

i agree that your hair looks very good. and the fact that you are 27 and have not used meds, you are definitely a lucky one. I can see the small thinning on the temples and small recession. If you say its just taken off recently then you may want to act now to halt it in its tracks. if you are concerned with it, then I would get on propecia immediately. and start using nizoral shampoo 2-3 times per week. This treatment will give you a good chance of keeping your hair in or very close to its current state for many years. This is a very easy and convenient way to treat your hairloss.

I would not bother with Minoxidil at this stage. Its much more inconvenient and I don't think you really need it anyway. I would save it as a plan of attack much further down the line, should the need arise.

Just one more thing: I would for sure use Nizoral during the next year. That's a no brainer. It just keeps your scalp healthy.

Thanks guys I appreciate the input, say I were to notice it progressing, would finas/nizoral hold the recession thinning to a minimum or is it harder to get results in the frontal area??

So you guys are saying even if I am starting male pattern baldness and got on meds I would be able to keep what I have for quite a while??
