Sorry guys, new here and I am trying to find the pics or maps of the head that show where you are at with hair loss. I know it's called Norwood with a number with the Norwood but, I cant seem to find those pics/maps of the head. Can someone point me in the right direction so I can let everyone know what I am?

If you type Norwood or Norwood scale into your favourite search engine, you'll get 1000s of maps. Here are some you can use:

I have thinning at the crown and a minorly receded hairline. Since there's no bald spot at the crown am I still a Norwood 2 or what? I find this scale to be a little too arbitrary for us who are still thinning diffusely. I may be artificially held at a NW2 due to minoxidil though. I'd probably be receded further without it.

I'm thinking that makes me a Norwood 2.5 haha... is that how I should classify myself?

ive seen people on here calling themselves norwood 1.3 and all sorts of crazy classifications, norwood 2.5 is pretty reasonable :)

Well, I see myself as a NW2.5. I had receding hair, but now I have frontal thinning which is basically NW3. But, it's not so bad at the moment. So, I am somewhere between the end of NW2 and the start of NW3. I might just as well call it 2.5 :sobbing:
