Norwood expectation

Hi, what do you guys think? Do you think the NW2 is inevatable if you have male pattern baldness no matter what treatments your on? Im on the big 3 and doing alright i guess...but now an NW2 on the temples. Started noticing temple recession about 6 years ago....Im 29.....big 3 for 12 months

It seems to me that most men, regardless of having male pattern baldness or not, end up being a NW2 somewhere in their 20's. I think with a lot of people it is just the hairline maturing.

yea i think your right...i'd say 30's though? have to admit it gets to me when i sit across at work from a man who is 40 and has the most perfect hairline youve ever seen!.....and has a twenty year old hottie girlfriend!!!.....I WANNA smack him ha!>>>>>>>>im better looking though perfect hairline man :jackit:

That would be my guess but I'm 24 and just started doing the big 3 so I don't really know.

I know what you mean about seeing these older guys with perfect hair. It pisses me off too but, like you said, I'm better looking than them haha. My hair compliments my looks so much though and I don't think I could pull off the bald look so that's what concerns me!

ah good luck mate, big 3 is the way too go....if you get a shed ride it out....seriously check my posts on the devastating effects of regaine!!!! I thought my life was over......seems cool now though...full head of hair and bit of temple recession you can notice cos of zac efron hairstyle hahaha...good old Zac...cheers bud.
Would be intersting to hear people who have had more than 2 years success on the big 3 and held an NW2???.....anyone

I've been on minoxidil for almost a month now and I'm just now getting the shed! I don't see much of a shed in the mornings (it could just be going down the drain in my shower) but at night when applying the minoxidil I comb my hair and get about 15 hairs! My hair generally looks good unless it's wet though. Your post and others are the only thing keeping me from dropping it from the regimen.

I haven't got my finasteride just yet but I have a dermatologist appointment in two weeks, I better come out of it with a prescription! haha

I started a bunch of supplements too.
