Norwood 5-7 Sides/Back Growout. Yay or nay?

Just wonderin what people think about growing out their sides and back of their heads if/when they reach the dreaded NW5-7 point. Im considering it. Id rather look like a crazy German rocket scientist, or Curley instead of an 8 ball.

...Plus ive seen people do it, and it really doesn't look too bad.

It's fine as long as you don't attempt to comb it over. what norwood are you?

have you tried meds?

have you looked into hair transplant's?

if you've tried meds, did you go to 5-7 while on them?

Norwood 2 and been taking propecia for a year. Im just projecting into the somewhat not so distant future

Looks absolutly awful to me. I think I would rather go for a hair transplant or kill myself if I ever was to reach Norwood 4. But yeah, a combover is the worst thing you can do. It always reminds me on my NW6 father. I don´t want to end up like him.

Sounds like a great marketing technique to me! Get an hair transplant so you don't have to kill yourself!

don't do this. simply by taking propecia you will likely stay nw4 or below for the rest of your life and you can easily get hair transplant's to get back to your nw2. newer treatments are in the pipeline and the coveted hm will almost certainly be here within 10 years.
