3 years ago I was norwood 2.5 - 3. I have been using finasterid for 3 months. By the way I have seborrheic dermatits( no itching, no redness just dandruff). I used minoxidil a few months ago and I gained hair but later I learned that it deteriorates seborrheic dermatits. Also I learned that minoxidil doesnt always provide hair sometimes there can be shedding. I want hair transplant and keep using finasterid. If finasterid doesnt maintain my hairline then I will use dutasterid. Please suggest something to me

minoxidil is a bandaid, finasteride is fix. Of course you run the risk of side effects with finasteride but it is your choice take the risk or watch your hair fade away. Don't forget preventing hair from falling out is 100 times easier than putting it back in.

Is can be good micro needling without minoxidil? Because when I look at the minoxil users there is good gain in first months but later shedding cycle hits hairline.
