Greetings everyone,
It's been a while since I last shared an update here, and I recently took a stroll down memory lane by revisiting my old pictures (you can find them in my only other thread).
While the progression of hair loss is still noticeable, there has been improvement in the past few months. Approximately two years ago, I began taking finasteride 1mg every other day with no noticeable results. Thankfully, I experienced no side effects when I decided to increase the dosage to 1mg daily. I've been in a healthy relationship for four years now, and my partner is aware of my struggles with hair loss, understanding it's a bit of a downer for me.
Around three months ago, I incorporated microneedling into my routine, and four weeks ago, I added topical rosemary oil to the procedure. Since then, I've observed new hair growth in my hairline, and it seems the region with remaining hair on my forehead has expanded (although the new hairs are mostly single graft, making them appear thin).
What's even more remarkable is that, since my initial post, I've seen many peers my age experiencing more severe balding. It makes me grateful for what I still have and appreciative that I can still style my hair.
The creases in my temple region are a result of my sleeping habits—I know it's not ideal, but I'm someone who sleeps on their stomach.
Kind regards.
