I got to do something about my horrible hair situation and Im thinking about ordering a stock piece from northwest lace. I live in Europe, so the ordering process will be quite a project, and there is some tricky choices I got to make. I got to choose color from a color ring, which is really hard to do from a picture. I think he uses a color ring that is called "new image color ring"? Does anybody know if thats correct and if I can buy that color ring for a reasonable price somewhere?

I think I am gonna choose a "ultra thin skin" model, it seems to be the most realistic model? It has to be glued, and I wonder, is it hard to remove it from the head? Maybe I want to remove the piece once a weak and clean my head, because I sweat quite much. And if I continue to work out at the gym, maybe I want to remove it as often as every other day? What do you guys with experience of hair pieces think about that??

Any advices are appreciated.

Thanks

There's no be-all-end-all solution for hair systems. Take the time to research everything about hair systems, and find what specifications might fit you best. Northwest Lace forums have some stickied threads with guides for beginners. You can post pictures of your current hair for general advice, but be sure to learn all the basics so you can ask good questions. If you just go on there and ask "I NEED A HAIR SYSTEM WHAT DO I DO" then you'll probably get ignored.

Stock pieces are not always straightforward to match to existing hair as screen resolutions are not reliable. They are usually associated with someone in a hurry or wanting to experiment, otherwise custom made is preferable.

Adhesives can vary in strength, so you can go for a shorter hold period. You can use a releaser to help remove.

Just send in a lock of hair to them and they will match it for you.

Thanks for your answers, think Im gonna skip the hair system though. Mainly because of 2 reasons: 1: It will itch much when I work out (I plan to run a lot and weightlift), 2: It will be a hassle to have it cut in, I can't do that myself and it will cost money and effort to find a stylist that can cut it to fit my existing hair. Being dependent on a stylist everytime the hair grows a little longer or when I change hair system doesn't feel so flexible and handy either.

I work out 4 times a week for 3 hours at a time. Never had a problem with sweat or itch. If my hair system itches, then I itch like I did before.

Its wise to find a "specialist" the very first time. Its what I did, then I just started to visit my local barber who was fine with cutting it in and blending. I dont visit a specialist to blend my hair and as I DIY, I can attach and just visit my own barber to cut any new piece.
