Hey guys. Here's the short story of my male pattern baldness:

I starting balding right after my 19th birthday. (Great present btw) Luckily, I had a doctors appointment already scheduled. I had mentioned my shedding and they refereed me to a dermatologist. The dermatologist diagnosed me with male pattern baldness, and put me on propecia.

Fast forward to the beginning of this year. Propecia had amazing results. (I was NW1) For the past few months though, I have noticed that my MBP has gotten significantly worse. Thinning all over, balding in the crown, and shedding. I am now NW3.

My question is this:

Since propecia has lost its effectiveness, what are my other options?

If the best doesn't work, it's pretty depressing. I mean, I hear about Propecia losing its effectiveness after 5 years, but after 2 years? That seriously sucks. :( On a side note, I've had 0 side effects from Propecia, that is, my sex life has been great and I haven't experienced anything else that I am aware of. In saying that, I've been tempted to up my Propecia dosage or start on Dutasteride, if not everyday, at least twice a week. Thoughts?
