12 months ago I suffered a period of extreme stress. Some of my symptoms were as follows:
1. Dangerously high heart rate
2. Panic attacks
3. Nausea
4. Deliriousness
5. Dizziness
6. Very high depression
7. Burning sensation on face, neck, back, and scalp
8. Daily persistent thumping headaches
... and more. These symptoms were at their worst and continuous for at least 4 months, eventually getting a little better and then subsiding over the remainder of the year.
On the subject of hair loss: About six months ago I noticed an area on my left temple where there was no hair. No thinning, no vellus hair, just no hair at all.
My question: In male pattern baldness is it most likely I would have noticed the hair thinning at some point? I am very sure it was not thinning at any time. My left temple remains the only area of my head which is affected. Everwhere else I have thick hair.
