hair-tomorrow, I swear I saw an Indian ayurvedic website which recommends eating dairy for slowing male pattern baldness.

I wouldn't doubt it. For years we were taught that dairy (milk, cheese, whatever) - was essential for heathy growth. In the last 10 - 12 years though - dairy's gotten a really bad rap and blamed with everything from autism to chronic ear infections in children.

I think (not that I'm a dietician or anything) that 1 dairy problem these days is the high animal fat content - which is why I always use the 2% milk instead of whole milk.

Another problem is the new "feed" the cows are getting these days - which also contriobutes to a change in the dairy by-products.

One day it's good for you - next day you hear it's loaded w/ toxic carcinogens. Can't friggin' win.
I don't even drink milk anymore, since it is loaded with hormones and all that sh*t. Skim would be best if concerned about the fat, which you should if you care about hair, but that still leaves the fact that it still has the hormones in it. I'd avoid it. :)

Agreed - and I used to go w/ skim all the time. But then I got married - and the 2% became a compromise w/ my wife who hated skim, and really isn't even all that crazy about the 2% :).

For me personally - I only use it in coffee. Maybe sometimes a dollup in my egg mix when I'm making my famous omlettes.

This is the same woman who upon hearing me say I'd like to drop a few lbs - comes home w/ fresh loaves of Italian bread, bakes up a home-made blue-berry pie, always make sure there's pulenty of chocolate chip cookies in the cabinet. Gotta love her.

I went to make myself a sundae the other night - and all that was in the fridge was frozen vanilla yogurt - which really wasn't that bad. After I loaded it up w/ chocalte syrup - I was surprised to find NO whipped cream - to which she says "well I thought you wanted to lose some weight". :?

Doesn't help that I have zero self-control. At least I'm keeping up w/ my workouts.

Women are that way. They feel if their man is losing weight....then they have to be thin too. Women are real self-consious about their figures, but the silly thing is, is that when they are comfortable and happy..................they get fat. Isn't that weird. But then again......some stay skinny. Woman are just damn hard to understand. Keep working out.............its good for ya.

Trader Joes market sells milk, whole milk, reduced fat, and non fat, all without hormones and at a lower price than normal supermarket milk.

I drink about a gallon and a half of their non fat milk every week.

I bet there is.......

If you drink skimmed milk or non-fat for a few weeks, you are likely to find full-fat milk utterly repulsive.

This happened to me, full-fat milk makes me wretch now.

I believe that the "western diet" may have caused a small increase in male pattern baldness in asian countries (some small observational studies document this trend)... The increase in saturated fats (red meats, fat) and sugars in the asian diet recently has been blamed by some for an increase in male pattern baldness in those countries.

Now this is very interesting! I think that balance is key to a healthy diet and life:)

Result is urination around 10:30am.

haha nice man..nice

anyway

good foods - all vegtables and fruits

bad foods - foods high in saturated fat

Not sure if this helps hair loss, but does make you healthy which can't be bad for your hairloss

Fenugreek, seeds, sprouts, eat it, rub it in. Make soup. Anyone else tried it yet? It is known to give horses glossy coats, so is probably improving the sebum activity.
