Hey guys.
I'm going to be 23 years old in 2 months.
I have started to use Kirkland Foam on May 2018(when I turned 22 years old), and when I was Norwood 2/3, and started to take Finasteride pills on September 2018.
Today is the 26 of March which means that in one more month i'll complete a full year of using the foam.
Pros:
- I actually feel more confident and less depressed because I always think I can fix my hairline and maybe turn it to Norwood 1 or even less.
- I have shitty hair genetics (I guess) and i'm just glad I didn't become worse in this year of treatment.
- I start to see "small" hair on my bald temples but as you all know it's just gonna stay "small" and not gonna become real hair. but it's better than nothing lol.
Cons:
- My crown is got worse to be honest. I mean my temples are better a little bit, but my crown, which should be the most improved part on my head, is got worse. I don't know why. I mean it's more "exposed" now and I can see more of the scalp than before, and and still not fully covered as I expected it to be after 1 year of treatment.. I didn't start the treatment on NW4 or NW5, I started it on NW2-NW3 when my crown was starting to bald but still got kinda nice amount of hair, and I expected it to be fully covered in that year.
What do you think is the reason? the shitty genetics?
I know I can't really do something and just hope it's going to be fine, but it's actually depressing me to know that I can "cover" the temples a little bit and play it cool, but the crown is still gonna be visible to everyone. makes me feel like sh*t.
Sorry for no pics [i'll post some in few hours]
meanwhile you can take a look at my previous thread (Aug 2018), 2 weeks before I started taking FIna.
