Nizorelle - after 2 weeks im thinner!!! whats happened!!

Hi,

i have slightly thinned hair on the hairline and about 1-2 inches back, but never noticed any thinning ion the back top of the head
So 2 weeks ago i started my hair loss treatment - well the first part, by washing with nizorelle twice a week. they didnt have nizoral in stock - but now have some

so over the last 2 days ive noticed the front of my hair is thinner, and has receeded a little bit - say 0.5cm
and looked at the back of my head and have seen there is a thinning patch

now im worried that using nizorelle has caused this

is this possible? or is it just temporary?



- also does finasteride 1mg daily stop future thinning/balding in everyone? or just a few?

No shampoo alone will do anything to your hair loss. Add finasteride and perhaps minoxidil too before it's too late.

ok thanks,
ill see the doctor on monday and get a private prescription for finasteride,
is there a recommended daily dose?

also as ive been using nizoRellle, would it be better to stop this and use Nizoral twice a week instead?

If Nizorelle contains ketoconazole, it's no worse than Nizoral, and there's no need to switch over.
Use finasteride as prescribed. If you get 5mg pills, get a pill cutter from a pharmacy 'cos it'll ease your life a lot.
