Hey:

I don't really have any history of sebborreic dermatitis or dandruff. Is there any benefit of adding Nizoral or T-Gel to my regimen. Although it minorly benefits hair shaft diameter, I tend to lean towards sticking with the drugs that target my hair loss specifically. Until reading this forum extensively, I hadn't seen the benefit of taking a drug that seemed unnecessary, but I am somewhat open to the possibility.

Hairlosstalk veterans, have at it.

Nizoral is almost a definite must... in fact, some on propecia say they had no results until they added Nizoral to their regimen. Aside from being anti-inflammatory, it also acts as a mild growth stimulant and mild antiandrogen.

T/Gel isn't a requisite (tho it was used in the Merck studies for all participants), but it's a nice anti-inflammatory shampoo.
