I think so. In fact, there was a study done with Head and Shoulders some years back that suggested that it was close to the effectiveness of minoxidil 2%.

The study was done on the 2% Nizoral, and it said it was equal to that of 2% Minoxidil. I think the study is somewhere on this site, but it's a bit hard to find the stuff on this site, so best of luck to you.

I'm kinda doubtful about this. I mean, the shampoos mentioned may increase hair shaft diameter as much as 2% minoxidil(?), but I don't think any shampoo will regrow hair.

When I started minoxidil last February, I had to use 2% for the first couple months before I got Lee's minoxidil. I was seeing regrowth in front from the 2%. No shampoo gonna be doin' dat yo.

Ooops, I turned Rasta in that last sentence, sorry.
