Hey guys

I have been on Fina for over 3 months and 1 Month On Minoxidil. Since Rogane my hair have been falling out quite alot, especially in recent times when I started Rogaine.

Anyway I have been using NIzerol 2% shampoo for like a year now. But I think using it everyday might be having a negative affect on my hair. So i am planning to take it Every Other Day.

My question is what shampoo would generally be best to take on the days I dont use Nizero?
I was thinking of using Tresemme Shampoo. Has anybody heard of it? on the shampoo it says rich in moisture and Vitamin E and ot be used for damged pr dried hair. Is this good or bad?

Thanks for any input

you are only suppose to use it 2-3times per week... everyday might be too harsh on your hair...

try a shampoo with Pirictone Olamine, it's proven that it can thicken hair shafts. It's an active ingredient in a lot of anti-dandruff shampoo's.
second you can use NANO-shampoo from dr.proctor, there is some science behind it, but a bit on the expensive side.

cheers dude, any ideas of any substitute?

get the nizoral 1% - it's supposedley "as effective" as the 2% and it's less harsh. but even w/ the 1% - you shouldn't use it more than 2 - 3 x per week.

I ecommend NANO, it leaves hair looking cosmetically thick, aswell as having regrowth benefits.

I think as far as cosmetic thickness is concerned Jasons Thick and Thin does as good as NANO. Save some money. But I think NANO may have more benefits in the long term.

Does anyone know why the directions for Jason's Thin to Thick conditioner says to rinse with warm then cool water? Does this have some effect on the hair cuticle?

I know that some facial products state to rinse with warm then cool water to seal the skin's pores and retain moisture. What effect would this have on the absorption of topicals (Minoxidil, Tricomin, etc.) applied to the scalp not long after rinsing with cool water and allowing the hair to dry?

Thanks.
