Does it contain Ketoconazole if it does at 20mg/g then it's the 2% stuff. Nizoral do different types of shampoo but it's the stuff with Ketoconazole in it that you want and yes it is for dandruff.

If it's got Ketoconazole, you're set. Go to http://www.hairlosstalk.com/resourcelibrary/ and read the study "Ketoconazole's 2 Year Effect on Hair Loss." It has antiandrogenic properties that will help your other treatments to be more effective. Even though you don't have dandruff, it will maintain a healthy scalp environment, and it will combat the inflammation caused by the autoimmune response when DHT binds to hair follicles. And no, the bottle does not advertise that it helps with hairloss. But (at least in the USA) it would be illegal for them to make this claim unless they conducted extensive clinical trials and got government regulators' approval for the claim. Don't worry about it. Just add Nizoral to your regimen. Good luck!
