nizoral Shampoo And What Else? Don't Need Propecia Yet

It's been decided that I am Noorwood 1, which is essentially a mature hairline. I am by no means at a point where I need a hormone route. So anyway, I bought nizoral shampoo. How often should I use it? And what else should I use in order to preserve hair?

Use it every other day. Apply minoxidil once a day

DO NOT use minoxidil if you are nw1, real poor advise there.

Stick to the nizoral for now. Check hairline once a week and take pics. It will naturally get thinner now and again from normal shedding cycles, but if it starts reversing back or staying thin, then jump on finasteride.

You seem to be very knowledgeable, what's is your prognosis lol

Hairline looks pretty strong. Just keep monitoring it with that slight indent at the edges

What's wrong with this guy putting minoxidil on his hairline once a day? I don't see anything wrong with it. You don't want to wait for a NW2 and minoxidil is harmless. Using it once a day only on your hairline and using generic minoxidil, a 3 month supply would last you 6 months and be dirt cheap.

Looks like a strong hairline to me man, nothing to worry about. What's your family history?

No hair loss on either side, both grandpas have full head of hair. I'm bugging bc I took accutane twice. It's been over a year since my last Course but I'm worried it affected my hair

My dad also has good hair and he's 60. Could this be the "mature hairline" that everyone talks about. I don't know too much

Min does cause a shed, this is common knowledge. Even using it on healthy hair. He will be stuck with using Min for the rest of his life when he might not have ever balded. Healthy hair wont rely on Min, but if he ever quits, he will still experience massive shedding, which often results in the user resuming Min indefinitely. It is a great topical, but you must be certain you are balding before starting the stuff.

You really should be fine then. Like I said just get a pic every now and again to track any recession.
