If you've been using Nizoral everyday, then yes, it's going to leave your hair dry and straw-like. Nizoral is a reasonably harsh product. The shampoo is designed to use maximum twice weekly, and use of the product is supposed to be discontinued after eight weeks.

Nizoral isn't designed to be used as a hair loss shampoo, it's for treating dandruff. You'll need to use either: Lipogaine Big 3, Regenepure DR, or Revita. Those three shampoos are designed for hair loss purposes and all of them contain Ketoconazole, which is the active ingredient found in Nizoral shampoo to treat dandruff which is also used to help fight Androgenetic Alopecia.

**** is overrated. don't get me started with these so called studies either.

It does make the hair look like garbage, strips the natural oils.. in return a straw like, dry appearance.

I'd use it every five days personally. ALl though I don't even remember the last time I used it myself.

Used it twice and havn't picked it up again. Made my hair super soft which was nice I guess, but I had to use quiet a bit to actually get a lather going. I'm one of those types that likes to just use a couple dabs of shampoo.
