Nizoral for maintenance or regrowth, if no irritation exists

? Hi,

I'm wondering what one can 'expect' from regular use of Nizoral in conjunction with a non-minoxidil regimen such as mine.

I use it 2 - 3 times weekly, 3 - 5 minutes sitting time on my scalp before rinsing.

I am interested in if the 'mild anti-androgen' properties of ketoconazole are more responsible for maintenance (such as finasteride) or regrowth (such as minoxidil) ...

Neither, ketoconazole may (theoretically) aid finasteride in the supression of DHT in the scalp, but by itself it will achieve almost nothing, it will certianly not promote hair growth.
