Nizoral being discontinued

I went to Walmart, CVS, Target, HEB, and Walgreens and all Nizoral was out of stock. Asked the store manager at HEB and she said that it is being discontinued.

Went online Amazon, Drugstore.com, and other outlets don't have it for sale anymore.

Amazon has one bottle for $60.

WTF is going on?

Why should they drop it off our regimen?

Apparently the short supply is due to the relocation of their manufacturing plant. From Amazon:

They had recently relocated their manufacturing plant for Nizoral A-D, and they are waiting for FDA re-approval of the product from the new facility. The supply should be back in July or a bit later this year.

I did the same thing, went to wal-mark, Cvs, walgreens and just about ever place you can imagine looking for Nizoral. Every place I looked had an empty slot on the shelf. What was funny was no one knew why they have been out of stock for weeks (like 16 weeks for one chain pharmacy) and said to check back soon...so I said to heck with it I had a doctor appt the other day and talked to them about the nizoral shortage and convinced her to write me a script for the 2% version and she did. However, got to the pharmacy turned out she wrote it for one percent LOL So the pharmacist called back and got the approval for 2%, what a hassle, but now I have cheap 2% nizoral with a full refill LOL

2 200 ml bottles of Nizoral on amazon for 24$. I believe it's the 2% version might have to ask the seller.

Eh I think its personally way over rated. It just made my dandruff worse and my itch even worse then normal to each his own I guess,
