nizoral as a face wash...

it may be funny to some but recently i have been experimenting with using nizoral as a face wash on days i use it on my hair and i gota tell you it defiantly combats oily skin on the face and makes skin feel much smoother. this brings me to my question what would be the negative to using it everyday along the hairline and forehead seeing as it should be benefital in acne and hair loss.

I use it. I use it for anti-androgenic reasons. Hopefully it will help my pore size.

the dryness i could see being a problem in the future once winter comes but right now its summer and 80 percent humidty every day so wont be a problem. i think if i feel my skin is getin dry i will switch to every other day and use moisturizer in the shower other days.

it is only drying if you have dry skin. you should not use it unless your pores are over active. that is the whole point.

I've been pushing that idea for a long time over on an acne site (using Nizoral to wash your face), but sometimes people are just too closed-minded to consider even something THAT simple and obvious! :wink:

I'll give it a go. I wonder if it would affect my beard growth? Also, would one still need to leave it on for a few minutes do you think if you were using it everyday?

If so, perhaps you could use it as a shaving cream... the sort of shaving cream that let's you shave less often

Just use it on one side of your face the first month. See if it does anything.
