Nizoral and shedding

I've been using Nizoral 2% for about five or six months now and it definitely helped to reduce the amount of hair that I was loosing. So about one month ago I increased the number of applications to three times a week and noticed that I began loosing more hair than before.

Could someone please give me an advice: should I go back to using it only twice a week or should I stick with it and hope that the shedding will subside? Has anyone else had similar problems?

I use 2% every other day. Every once in a while, I'll shed more than the normal amount of hairs when using this shampoo, but it's nothing serious. I just consider it a part of my hair's normal shedding cycle.

Do you follow up with a leave-in conditioner after you rinse out the nizoral?
