Nizoral 1% vs. 2%

Is there really a big difference between the two? To me, it seems like the people on here that use Nizoral are pretty much split between 1% and 2%.

I know you can buy 1% pretty much anywhere, but where can you find the 2%?

In my opinion and nearly 5 years of usage, Nizoral 1% is just as good if not better. The 2% really dried my hair too much and the 1% always leaves it feeling clean without excessive drying and left my scalp feeling healthy too.

Yes, I agree. The 1% seems to be less harsh and seems
to leave my scalp more healthy. The 2% sometimes
causes itching. I try to leave the 1% on my head slightly
longer than the usual 2-3 minutes.

I live in canada and they have nizoral 2% lying all over the place in supermarkets. The question I have is, where can I find nizoral 1% in canada???

I use 2%, which I can get OTC here.

I use it over the 1% cos wouldn't the 2% be more effective?

Dr. Lee has a 2% nizoral shampoo that is gentle and leaves your hair looking good.

I have used both and I haven't noticed any difference.

My local shop didn't have any 2% left, so I bought the 1% version of it. For me, the only difference is in the colour. 1% has sort of a blue colour, while the 2% one is red-ish.

My scalp feels the same with both.
