well there have been a lot of people that come here and say their barber/hairdresser/whatever was the one who told them they were thinning and they sold them Nioxin. It's well known that Nioxin does nothing to stop hairloss even though it is marketed to.
Nioxin's marketing target is hairdressers. I guess Nioxin knows that these people ironically have little to no knowledge about hairloss.
That being said......I do like Nioxin's shampoo and conditioner. Their Scalp Therapy conditioner has been my daily conditioner for a while now.
When I first started losing my hair I bought into the whole Nioxin kit and it did absolutely nothing..
My girlfriend came home with the stuff a little over a year ago. She went to get her hair cut and the hairdresser told her she was thinning and convinced her this will fix it.

i love the shampoo. but i must say i think it does help to some people. my dad who is completely blad on top well getting there. he started using it and lil colored hairs popped out all over his crown. i know you say bs but it happened and no he was on nothing else. it never fully regrew his hair but everyone noticed that he did have some regrowth but like i said nothing dramatic just noticeable. there are couple people on here that will say the say same. it does help TO A VERY FEW.

Not surprisingly .... I had a close look at Nioxin ingredients.

Its basically revivogen and ... Niacin ... diluted.

They put some growth stimulants that will stimulate short term hair growth but can't stand the test of time (1 to 4 years) like rogaine.

Thats why some people report results. If you agitate hair enough, it will stimulate growth. It just wont last very long.

And secondly ... they have ... yep .... the Revivogen Fatty acids. Although im willing to bet they're not in the "free" form like they need to be ... and more importantly ... they've only got one of the 2 that Revivogen has.

Still... Revivogen beats others out in the bang for the buck category.
