Nightmare just got worse

I always thought my hair loss was only affecting my temple region as not a single person in my family has crown thinning. Lately, however, I had this feeling that my hair felt thin every time my crown area came in contact with anything. I took a few pictures and couldn't believe what I saw.

I'm worried about the next few months, let alone years, at this point.

Are you serious?

No way he has crown thinning it doesn't look like that.

You just have long hair, which makes the scalp easier to see when you part it in the back.

There is not thinning at all going on.

Agreed. You can even see this on females when their hair is longer.

You're nowhere near nightmare territory bro! Relax!

I can not see any thinning. Quite natural to have such a crown with long hair falling to the sides. If you would buzz cut that hair you would see that your crown is all fine. What about your temples? Any thinning there?

Do you have some images of your crown from earlier?

I think Dench is being sarcastic. He has a witty sense of humor. I can't even see hair loss here. If this is a "nightmare", then every night for me is like freddy kruger sticking his claws up my a*s and laughing as I slowly bleed out.

Ok guys I admit it might not be as bad as I made it out to be and I apologize for that. This hair loss has just really affected me to the point where I'm extremely obsessive/paranoid about it now, especially since I'm only 20.

Older pictures of my crown:

My temples is where I've noticed the most thinning, I noticed some thinning in my temples about 1.5 years ago and since then I've been extremely paranoid. It went from this:http://i.imgur.com/kKYSocx.jpg to this http://i.imgur.com/DpNr61j.jpg in about a year.

Before any hair loss my hairline looked like this (~2 years ago):

Notice the very sharp temple peaks and full temple area.

Thanks for the help everyone.

I'm just bored of this particular OP. This guy comes back every 2 months or so on all the forums, posts loads of pictures, says he's depressed, living in a nightmare etc. Has been doing this for about a year now. Takes all the compliments and comments from people saying "hair looks fine". Then he's back again in 2 months with another thread with more photos. He's either trolling, needs psychiatric help, or you know, could actually get on treatment.

OP, I think you should just get on a low dose of Finasteride for a piece of mind.

Yeah annoying, there are many of these guys around though. Some people talk about their hairline getting destroyed due to finasteride or dutasteride (the famous hairline killer), while I can't even spot the difference between pictures lol. Others are talking about impressive regrowth while in reality it's nothing significant at all. Others think they are NW4 while they are rocking a NW1 hairline. Can't really take all anecdotal evidence seriously.

Anyway OP you are fine, you should maybe get help though. Seems you are obsessive man.

Thanks for the replies everyone, I appreciate everyone taking time out of their day to help me out.

I've said this many times but I know my hair loss is not nearly as bad as many of the people on this forum. However, I know my hair and I know it has receded/thinned out a bit near the temples. If you don't believe me I have close ups from a year ago, and compared to now the difference is crystal clear. I'm more worried about the future than I am about now. I am in no way trying to troll this forum or anything like that, and I do apologize if I come off as that.

Thanks for the advice, however I don't wanna get on anything like that at this young of an age.

Again I apologize if it seems I am joking or anything like that, but I truly am paranoid about all this. And I agree about how anecdotal evidence can be extremely inaccurate, however as I mentioned earlier in this post I do have closeups in which you can see hair that is thinning. If you guys wish, I can dig those up and post them. You can actually see bits of my older juvenile hairline, just the hairs are very thin. If only I could somehow thicken those few hairs up. I do also agree that I am a bit obsessive about this all, maybe a bit too much.

But what is the point of your posts then? If you're worried get on finasteride and stop being worried.
