Hello I am Fred, 23, NW2 with a receding hairline (thining and dead follicules at the hair line. It started at 17).
I use this regimen for 2 months:
-Finasteride (fincar cut in 6) 0,8mg X 1/day
-minoxidil (kirkland 5%) X 2, WITH 2 crushed 5mg finasteride (Topical)
-Nizoral 2% 10min everyday after a regular shampoo
-Retinoic acid 0,05 every other day (SINCE YESTERDAY only)
I dont have any major side effect (besides the semen effect, but it wasnt liquid enough anyway).
There are both vellus and a lot dark hairs (not vellus but not terminal) regrowing at my hair line. Dark hair are growing in the thining area and vellus at the already bald area.
I always had a lot of sebum at the hair line (cured with the nizoral 2%), and i sometimes felt pain in the receding hairline area and at the vertex (like skull and tissue under the skin pain, but i dont have any thining at the vertex yet), but it disappeared since I use Finasteride.
First i would like to thank everybody in this forum for all the interesting posts.
I have pictures and I will post them if dark hairs grow enough.
My questions are:
-How would you improve this treatment, in term of posology, or do i have to add other treatments (was thinking of prox-N, bethametasone, or topical keto like in the japanese study).
-Is the foam better on the hairline?
